Follow Laura on her day to remember in this exclusive video diary
STRIKING a pose in front of a camera is something that our Face of 2008 is hoping will become a way of life.
Laura MacFarlane (21) scooped the top spot in our popular competition and spent the day taking part in a real photoshoot, with a professional photographer, make-up artist and hairdresser.
As part of her prize, she will receive a real portfolio which she hopes will kick-start her modelling career.
The day started early for Laura and she spent almost two hours getting her hair styled before heading up to the studio to start make-up prior to the cameras rolling.
And one of The Press' photographers was on hand to take some behind the scenes shots to show readers how much effort goes into a photo shoot.
Laura said: "I've had a brilliant time and really enjoyed every minute of it, although it's harder work than you would think."
